The overall product is good and well designed. However, there were a couple of areas that could be improved. The product itself was for a Peugeot Partner. Unfortunately, the small 'L' shaped brackets which fix it onto the sub frame had the holes in the wrong place and these had to be re-drilled to make them fit. I did try and seek guidance from the company but no one got back to me. My first order wasn't delivered but when I phoned up to find out where it had gone, it was dealt with quickly and a replacement order was despatched, which did arrive.

Soweit sehr gut. Öffnung zum Ölwechsel würde den Unterfahrschutz perfektionieren. Jährliche Demontage nicht so gut. Schrauben sollten aus Edelstahl sein, da sie sehr rostanfällig sind, schwierig zu demontieren.

100% Passend bei Subaru Forester SF Baureihe 1997-2002 122PS. Einfach zu montieren (Montage beim Markenhändler 50,00-60,00 €). Um zu vermeiden das im Gelände bei der Passung Stoßstange zu Unterfahrschutz vorne wieder etwas dazwischen gerät (hier eingedrückter Schlamm etc. hatte mir den Original Kunststoff Unterfahrschutz weggedrückt) haben wir die unteren Clipse der Stoßstange gelöst, den Unterfahrschutz nun vorne verdeckt darunter geschoben. Neue Löcher durchgebohrt und die Stoßstange wieder eingeclipst. Saubere Sache. Der Unterfahrschutz überzeugt zudem durch seine Materialstärke und es fallen im Vergleich zu einem Original-Ersatzteil aus Kunststoff nur unwesentliche Mehrkosten an. Es rechnet sich allemal. Einzig ist leider bei dem Baujahr auch noch keine Öffnung für den Ölwechsel vorgesehen. Das Produkt und den Versand rezensiere ich gern und ehrlich als sehr positiv, weil stahl-unterfahrschutz. eu sich das mehr als verdient hat.

Very pleased indeed with the steel sump guard which I fitted to my Volvo XC70. It's a very well-designed item that adds useful protection to the underside of the car. The mountings make fitting it very easy. If you're likely to take your vehicle anywhere where the sump might be at risk of damage, this is a 'must have' accessory. Highly recommended.

Bought and fitted one for my lowered Vauxhall Astra G a few months ago, has taken a few significant impacts and seems to be very strong and resilient. Nice to have the peace of mind that it's not my sump taking the impact. Would be cool to have easier access to the oil drain, as I'm not looking forward to my next service, but it's well worth having the protection under my sump so it's a small price to pay
